So I know these websites are kind of crap anyway, but I have issues with scrolling bsky.social (and other clients for it like witchsky) and twitter. The further into the timeline I get, the more frequently these webpages lag.

They begin freezing every few seconds for a few seconds, during which they queue left or right clicks, page up/page down, and various other commands, only processing them once it unfreezes. Firefox itself still works during this freeze, e.g. opening the main menu. Also, I can still scroll up or down to a limited degree, though this just exposes empty, unrendered webpage until it unfreezes.

bsky.social has had this problem for a long time, but twitter only recently developed this issue after I had to do a cache clear, cookie clear, etc. trying to log in a few weeks ago. Prior to that it didn't have this issue.

Task manager hasn't really helped elucidate what's wrong, so it might be an about:config that I set or even an unruly extension, but I really don't know what to try.

Every time I open Firefox I get a message saying "Getting close to your VPN Limit. You have _ GB left. Your data will reset at the start of next month" and I want to stop seeing it

My Firefox crashed when my laptop was inactive. When relaunching it didn't have my usual tabs open so I did the usual, history- restore tabs. This didn't work and only opened 2 tabs when I know I had about at least 15 open. Please tell me other ways I can do this? they are backed up in file library, how do I restore them from there? or any other way, this is frustrating.

I am getting popups constantly from Mozilla Firefox. It is using a sign on as d9nnarOhubcc73e1106g.alphatechboost.co.in

How do I stop these?

Immediately after I downloaded the latest update 153.0.1 for Firefox on the Mac, I noticed an issue with the Clear Recent History request. Whenever I select Clear Recent History (under History in the top bar menu), the popup box that opens always shows it is "calculating" the data, even if I only visited one website and closed it (or left it open). If the Clear button is active, I will click it and the box closes, but I never know if the history was cleared.

However, many times, the Clear button is grayed out while the "calculating" is in progress, and it freezes up the popup box. I cannot close it or click on any other part of the screen. It appears to freeze (crash) Firefox. My only option then is to quit Firefox and reopen it. When I do, the popup box is gone. But I still have no confirmation that the history has been deleted. But after visiting one or more websites that I want cleared of history (news sites, etc) the issue reappears again as soon as I select Clear Recent History.

I have a whitelist of many sites that I allow to store cookies and site data. But for all other sites, I routinely clear my history when I am done viewing them. This issue has never happened before, so I'm wondering if it is a bug in the latest 153.0.1 update. Before I downloaded the latest Firefox update, I checked to make sure it was compatible with my current version of Ventura 13.7.8 on a MBP 2022. And the clear history issue never appeared when I was on Firefox 152.0.6.

I am a physician. When I get the chance between patients, I will try to finish some of the paperwork generated by the office visits. So, at my desk, I have 2 screens. One that is supposed to show me when a patient is ready to be seen or if I have more time for paperwork. Unfortunately, the window with the "office flow" does not seem to refresh as often as needed. Is there a way to set Firefox to refresh only that window on a more frequent basis, say every minute. I would be working in a different window leaving the "office flow" up on the other monitor.

While using Firefox Mobile browser, requesting the desktop site doesn't work. It doesn't load the actually desktop site, just a smaller version of the mobile site. I have checked to ensure M. Isn't in the address.

When I request the desktop site on Chrome browser to loads the actual desktop site. I've included screen shot of both browsers showing Firefox is still showing mobile menus

I realized that all the bookmarks I had saved for years are now missing when I search using the browser. I did find them in other locations, but how can I see specific bookmarks that are missing?

Whenever I sign in to my VA account, I check the box to "Remember this browser" (as attached), but it never works. VA IT told me it was an issue with the browser (i.e., Firefox). This might have just been their way of making me go away quietly. (Blowing me off!) But I thought I'd check with you anyway. Can you help? Thanks

Can you help me repair my FireFox Browser? The shortcut did not launch the browser. It stated that the file had moved or was no longer working. It still appears in my App folder but the only option is to uninstall it. I have a great deal of short cut tabs and all my stored passwords. How do I repair this? If I re-download Firefox will it access all of my stored information and preferences?

Seem as if you cannot change the primary email address if the address has been invalidated. What are the options here? I no longer have access to that email address. How do I change my primary address now?

Hi I noticed that some old links in my history are automatically deleted. How to configure expiration rules (if possible) in order to keep links forever, until manual deletion? I know that links can be saved in the bookmarks, but when browsing the Internet, unless bookmarking everything :(, no one knows if a link can be useful in the future.

VPN has been working like a charm...today I go in circles...it asks me to sign in...ok...screen says go to open screen and open VPN...I click there but VPN takes me back to the original screen coming up first time today.

Pressing print/pdf button for screenshot then pick the folder destination documents then press save and what it's used for is decrease the size of the screenshot with pinching the screen then retake the screenshot of desired smaller size however for the first time it has an error in documents folder the says "can't open pdf" and then I tried the 3 dot menu in upper right corner to use an app to open it up and I went through all of them and nothing works
